Cyberbullying, Cyberharassment, and Cyberstalking.

Communications technology is expanding through the entire global community. Many people use new technologies such as e-mail and mobile phone texting as bullying tools. I am 100% agree that I many times technology allow users to act in ways that are not acceptable, for example, students send aggressive expression toward others, writing hurtful or threatening e-mails and postings them on web sites. Today, anyone with access to the Internet or a cell phone has the tools to cause harm. Other examples, to hurt people are the hate group Web sites, such as Ku Klux Klan. These groups are spreading a hate messages using the Internet to reach millions of teenagers, promoting homophobia and discrimination against other.
In order to prevent bulling in my classroom, I would model desired attitudes, behaviors and establish rules and sanctions regarding bullying. Also, I think parent have to teach children how to ask for help and how to report cruelty, bullying, and harassment, as well as help children choose TV programs, music and videos that promote respect, kindness and understanding. Everything I have being reading about bullying is very interesting, but what I learned, was that bullies develop at very young ages. This is why it is necessary to deal with children with unkind or violent tendencies before it gets out of control.
